I had Russ’s treatment many times in Tokyo and he is the one who helped a lot my almost chronic pain in my deep calf muscle from long term marathon training. As he is also a good runner, he understands the situation and knows what athletes need. The stretches he instructed me are very helpful and I still do them by myself.

Russell is by far and away the best acupuncturist/PT I've ever had. He is intuitive and thorough. As a dancer and CrossFit athlete, I have come to Russell for everything from incredibly painful plantar fasciitis to a sore or pulled muscle. He has managed to, within a few sessions, make my pain minimal or completely dissipate. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Love the focus on acupuncture and holistic view of the problem. I went for elbow tendonosis from rock climbing, and I have seen great improvement.

Russel is amazing! I came to his office almost immediately off a flight from San Francisco, three days before the NYC marathon with some really awful pains. Russel listened to all of my woes and understood immediately the help I needed. He spent two full hours with me - first reviewing step by step some of the issues he saw from head to toe. We did acupuncture, cupping, normatec, and PT exercises. I left with more goodies from his office than I did from the marathon expo! Honestly, before walking into his office I thought I was going to have to cancel my marathon entry, but he gave me the mental and physical support I needed to push through. I'm back in SF now and wishing he was here! Haven't found any PTs as good!

He is an experienced acupuncturist and a physical therapist, and really knows what he's doing. Now what really sets Russ apart from others is the way he goes about treating his clients. He really takes his time and puts a lot of care into his sessions with you. He doesn't run his business like a treatment factory where the therapist tries to see as many clients in a short amount of time. And for the amount of time that he spends with you, his rates are very reasonable

Russ is an incredibly thoughtful practitioner. He is absolutely the best at finding what caused an injury and using a combination of acupuncture and PT to help me on the road to recovery. I swear by his work and have done so for years.

Russ did an excellent job walking me through the "how and why" during my acupuncture treatment. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in trying acupuncture.
